This photo essay started from six weeks wandering around Italy in 2016, where every street corner felt like stepping into a new version of myself. These images follow that feeling of moving through new spaces and letting them shift something inside you. The way your body learns a place before your mind does. The way a city opens up, and somehow, you do too.
It began as a class project while I was studying abroad, but these photos still hold that early “becoming” energy for me, when you’re just figuring out who you are, one street at a time.
